Health Food Chain Extends Its Loyalty Schemes And Card Loyalty Program

Holland and Barrett is extending its card loyalty program and it has ordered a further five million cards for its consumers.

The health food company had authorized a Macclesfield manufacturer to create a million cards for its loyalty schemes across 40 selected stores earlier this year.

The programme registered about 200,000 shoppers in the north and the midlands throughout a 19-week trial but now the business is setting up the promotion nationwide. The company quotes that it’ll sign up 2.5 million customers to the system in its first 12 months.

The retailer loyalty cards and key fob cards will allow customers to provide them at the till to receive points on their acquisitions. For every pound spent, the consumer will receive four points that may be traded for coupons to use in-store.
